Ok... Things are getting bad already.....
My supervisor just came and talked to me .. he explained some of the codes in teh fille he gave me.. which i can still understand...
so now.. he want me to change these files
#include "as_scripts/com.qlod.ExtendedBroadcaster.as"
#include "as_scripts/com.qlod.LoaderClass.as"
in the flash program to a movie clip class... and i dont even know how to do it.. GG
think later i am going to look for him and ask... sigh i hate this feeling.
now i am like really in living hell lol... with tons of things that i dont know how to do, and i have to do it by hook or by crook.
before coming to attatchment i am actually quite prepared to do sai kang.. like data entry la... testing... receptionist... IT boy... or even janitor...
in the end come here they gimme programming .... i want to do sai kang then they give me programming to do... i seriously find that attatchment is not really nessesary .... cause most of the poly student work while studying at the same time... so we already know how the feeling is like to work....
and so they are saying "to give you feeling of how industrial working environment is like"
The problem is, how many of us choose this course because we like what we are going to study for this course? everyone look at the book and see what year 3 have to offer us to choose from .. not what we are studying beforehand...
i choose this course because of animation... but aparrantly we haven even touch on it,
my friend from ITE like know so much more things about animation than i do in poly.
And so i was wodnering, if people from ITE know more things than what we are suppose to know in poly, Then i might as well choose ITE in the first place?
Poly is just a nice term for people to hear , but actually we are studying so much basic things instead of hands on. and i find it relly stupid..
Instead of making us study things that is more related to the course we wanted to Specialize in.. we are like in another round of 3 years secondary school. i know they want us to know what its like for the courses that we can specialize in , what we are going to study , so they throw us a little bit of everything to have a feel of it.
Maths, Physics, Programming, Database.. i mean yea, if you wanna talk about basics of animation i have to do all these. but right now there is so much programes that is happening out there so you think we will actually need to know the "basics" of these things? and these "Basics" dont carry us far enough even if we really need to use it. We will still stumble upon these rocks and fall .
Like me right now ! and some of my other classmate which is also at attatchment, Yiling and Aaron have to do a website for the company using the Studio program. and for God sake, we make the program until we want to die and get paid like 450 bucks per month. They sell the product we do they earn how much? 5k? 6k? 7k? 8k?
They a bunch of idiots man, They hire people from poly and expect them to work like how a professional should. And paying them 1/4 or 1/5 of what a professional should get. but expects the same result.

then i tried to do it, i look at the codes. i look at the files. and i was asking myself, "How the hell am i suppose to change it into a movie clip class?" i dont think i have ever done this before in school.
Up till now answers are not found.
i know when people is working, there is tons of things that they need to learn to use or do as well. But cmon, i am 100% sure i wont step into programming job. So this dosent really affects me?
